Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi, who was on a two-day trip to Gujarat, today visited the Anand Agricultural University here and sought information about new technologies being developed by the varsity in the field of agriculture.
After their arrival here this morning, Nyusi along with his delegation paid visit to Educational Museum and plant tissue culture laboratory in the university premises to learn about latest technologies developed by the institution, an official release said.
The delegation then visited a farm used by the university's research centre, where varsity experts are doing experiments on groundnut and cotton crops.

University's in charge Vice Chancellor R C Pathak provided guidance about the roles and functioning of the university to Nyusi and his team.
Later in the evening, the Mozambique President left Gujarat from Ahmedabad Airport.
He was given send-off by state Law Minister Pradeepsinh Jadeja and other delegates, it added.
