"We have got attractive investment proposals from these South Asian countries. Investors have shown keen interest in the state," he told reporters at the airport upon his arrival from 10-day foreign tour.
He said several investors have given their consent to take part in the 'Global Investors Meet', to be organised by MP Government in Indore in October.
Investors were surprised to know that the MP Government is providing interest-free loans to farmers to make agriculture a profitable venture, Chouhan said.
The Chief Minister said in case Japanese companies decide to invest in a major way in Madhya Pradesh, a separate zone would be created from them in the state.
He said investors evinced interest in the fields of infrastructure development, manufacturing, food-processing and tourism.
Chouhan also expressed happiness at the successful operation carried out to separate conjoined twins -- Stuti and Aradhna -- at a hospital in Betul town last week.
The State Government had given Rs 20 lakh towards the cost of the operation.
