MP: Chouhan makes appointments to various state bodies

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced 11 appointments in state-run corporations and commissions, in an apparent bid to consolidate his position in the aftermath of Vypam scam and recent victories in local body polls.

Ramesh Sharma was appointed as chairman of Rajya Karmachari Kalyan Samiti, while Banshilal Gurjar was made the chairman of MP Rajya Krishak Kalyan Ayog, a government spokesperson said.

Om Yadav has been appointed as the Bhopal Development Authority chairman. Vinod Mishra will be the chairman of Jabalpur Development Authority.

Jagdish Agrawal was appointed as the chairman of the Ujjain Development Authority. Abhay Chaudhary would head the Gwalior Development Authority, the official said.
 

Rakesh Jadoun will be the chairman of Special Area Development Authority (Counter Magnet City, Gwalior) while Ashwin Khare has been made the Director, Marathi Academy.

Shivraj Shah was appointed as chairman of state SC/ST Finance and Development Corporation while Bhupendra Arya would head the state SC Commission.

Narendra Maravi was appointed as the MP ST Commission.
