Madhya Pradesh Chief Miniser Shivraj Singh Chouhan today congratulated boxer MC Mary Kom for clinching a gold medal in boxing at 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.
"Thank you Mary Kom for Asian Games 2014 Gold and showing to the world that women from India are second to none. Congratulations," Chouhan said in a tweet.
Mary Kom today became the first Indian woman boxer to clinch a gold medal at the Asian Games after she came from behind to beat Kazakhstan's Zhaina Shekerbekova in the flyweight (51 KG) summit clash.
