Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today dedicated the BJP's victory in the first phase of local bodies polls to its large number of workers and people's growing faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked the elected corporators to serve people with honesty.
"It is the victory of a large number of party workers, voters and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Chouhan said, addressing a function to mark the BJP's victory in the first phase of local body elections.
Results of the first phase of voting were declared today, while counting for the second phase of polling is set to be held on December 6.

"We will not let down people who reposed their faith in the state's development by voting for the BJP," he said.
The BJP won the first phase of local body polls with a majority, in results announced here today.
Chouhan also gave credit to the BJP's spectacular performance in local bodies polls to union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Thawarchand Gehlot and Sushma Swaraj.
