MP collects Rs 12.77 cr for Nepal quake relief

Madhya Pradesh government has so far received donations of over Rs 12.77 crores towards relief for earthquake-affected people in Nepal.

The Himalayan country was jolted by a powerful earthquake on April 25 this year.

"The government has received Rs 12,77,67,185 as donations from people of Madhya Pradesh in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for providing relief to earthquake- affected people of Nepal and other areas," a Public Relations department official said.
