Madhya Pradesh government has so far received donations of over Rs 9.76 crore towards relief for earthquake-affected people in Nepal.
The Himalayan country was jolted by a powerful earthquake on April 25 this year.
"The government has received Rs 9,76,60,398 as donations from people of Madhya Pradesh for relief to earthquake- affected people of Nepal and other areas," a state Public Relations department official said today.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to the people to contribute generously for helping the quake-hit citizens of Nepal.
The donations will finally be handed over to the Centre for further necessary action, he added.
