Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCCI) today filed a complaint in a local court objecting to an advertisement released by Amul which allegedly showed Congress leaders in bad light.
MPCCI Spokesman Narendra Saluja filed the complaint under sections 500 (conspiracy, collusion with common intent) and (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) 504 of IPC in the district court of judge O P Vohra who has put the matter for March 11, a party release said here.
"Amul made fun of Congress leaders and party's policies in its advertisement campaign", Saluja said, alleging Amul's ads were defaming the party and its top leaders that would not be tolerated.

"It was surprising and hurting that the milk and butter producing company from Gujarat was not making any such advertisements against the BJP-ruled states," he alleged.
Amul belongs to Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd, which is jointly owned by over three million milk producers in Gujarat.
