Filmmaker and censor board member Ashoke Pandit today said an MP from the film industry should be the information and broadcasting minister.
"At present Arun Jaitley is the minister of information and broadcasting, and below him is a minister (Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore) who was a shooter," said Pandit, speaking at the ongoing Women Economic Forum here.
"We have a lot of people from the film industry in the Parliament. Had they been the information and broadcasting minister, the things would have been different," he said.
