Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav today expressed grief over the demise of former union minister and Congress veteran Vidya Charan Shukla.
Shukla (84), who suffered bullet injuries in the deadly Naxal attack that eliminated Chhattisgarh party leadership over a fortnight ago, died at Medanta Medicity Hospital in Gurgaon due to multi-organ failure.
"Shukla was a leader who always remained a great source of inspiration to young leaders. The country has lost an able and a sharp leader with the passing away of Shukla," the Governor said in a message.
