A Madhya Pradesh Health department official was caught on Tuesday by the Lokayukta police in Dhar district for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a transporter, an official said.
Lokayukta Police DYSP Dinesh Patel said Jayantilal Khanna, block programme manager (BPM) of Health department at Kukshi was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from vehicle owner Vijay Baghel for clearing a bill of Rs 14,000.
Khanna has been booked under Prevention of Corruption Act, he said.
