"These days the Raj Bhawan is receiving large number of complaints by unnamed persons specially against Vice Chancellors of several universities of the state and after probe they were found to be fake," sources told reporters here today.

Among them, a number of complaints were made by the office bearers of political parties on their letter heads, but when the officials of Raj Bhawan enquired about them from the party office bearers they were informed that no such person worked in the party, he said.

Because of such complaints, a lot of time of the Raj Bhawan gets wasted, sources said.

Referring to a particular complaint, they informed that a complaint was made by an office bearer on the letter head of a youth cell of a registered political party alleging large scale financial irregularities in Chitrakoot Vishwa Vidyalaya, but after a probe it was found that no such person ever existed in the organisation.

Because of this problem, the Raj Bhawan is now first verifying the credentials of the complainant and only then probing it, the sources added.
