Armed robbers on Tuesday night heldthe family of a builder and two private guards captive at gun point and decamped with cash and valuables in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, an act recorded by a CCTV camera, police said on Wednesday.
The footage shows at least six men suddenly appearing outside the builder Kailash Chandra Goyal's residence in Kanchan Vihar Colony, a police official said.
"As per prima facie information, they threatened two private guards of the builder sitting outside his residence, and snatched a rifle from one of them.
"The robbers then took the guards inside the house at gun point, where they held them captive along with family members of the builder, and fled with cash, valuables and other materials," he said.
Police have launched hunt to trace the robbers, the official added.
