Madhya Pradesh would soon become a major industrial investment destination, the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said today.

The Global Investors Summit, organised in Indore last year, received proposals worth over Rs five lakh crore and industries will be soon set up in the state, Chouhan told reporters on his arrival here for a one-day visit to the city.

"More industries and investments are coming to the State," he said.

The government was organising a seminar on waste management in Bhopal and he has come to invite the Spiritual guru and founder of Isha Foundation, Jaggi Vasudev, he said.

Singh, who has come with his wife, said he will stay overnight at the Isha Centre, some 25 KM from the city, and return tomorrow.
