MP to train women teachers and students in computer literacy

The Madhya Pradesh government plans to train 1.10 lakh women teachers and students in computer literacy and internet to make literacy (e-literacy).

Training would be provided under an "e-shakti" campaign among girl students of higher secondary schools and women teachers, an official release said here today.

Out of 313 blocks, 352 students from each block would be trained in internet and allied technologies, it said.

The government has directed district education officers to review the scheme at their level and provide information about it to the Science and Technology Department, the release said.
