Two men died after coming into contact with an electric fencing, apparently set up for hunting wild animals, near Atri village in the district last night, the police said today.
The incident occurred when Subhash Tembhare (18), Ram Baghel (30) and another person had gone to collect honey on a hillock near the village.
"Out of the three, Tembhare and Baghel stepped on the electric fencing and died on the spot. Another villager accompanying them survived," said the Barghat Police Station in-charge Amit Vilas Dani.
