Madhya Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has declared a reward of Rs 5,000 for whosoever provides information about mining baron Sudhir Sharma, alleged to be involved in police constable recruitment examination scam.

The examination was conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB).

"A reward of Rs 5,000 has been declared by STF against Sudhir Sharma for his involvement in the police constable recruitment examination 2012 scam," an official release said yesterday.

Earlier, the STF had questioned Sharma twice on the issue at its Bhopal office after which he was allowed to go, STF sources said.

The decision to announce the reward was taken after Sharma failed to appear before the agency despite number of summons issued by the STF subsequent to his initial questioning in the scam, the sources added.
