MPPSC paper leak: Exam Controller changed

After the leakage of question paper for Ayurved medical officer's exam came to light, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has removed Shrikrishna Sharma from Exam Controller's post and appointed Kirti Khurasia in his place, official sources said here today.

Secretary of the Commission, Manohar Dube, removed Sharma from the post and handed over the charge to Khurasia, sources said.

"Khurasia was posted as Deputy Examination Controller of the MPPSC and the decision to replace Sharma with Khurasia was taken after the leakage of Ayurved Medical Officer paper came to light," sources said.

On May 24, the police had busted a racket involved in leaking MPPSC exam papers, following which the Commission has temporarily suspended the process of checking answer sheets.
 

The Special Task Force (STF) had arrested four persons in this connection.

The examination for the 722 posts was conducted on May 18, for which total number of 7,500 candidates had appeared.
