Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed that corn crop be purchased from farmers by paying minimum support price by state agencies.
Government officials took to the notice of Rao that middlemen were purchasing the crop at a low price, a release from the Chief Minister's office said.
Rao directed government support and that the produce be purchased by the state agencies, it added.
