The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has appointed consultancy firm EY to assist it to raise debt for various projects, including the Rs 5,385 crore Mumbai-Pune Expressway augmentation and Rs 7,500 crore Versova-Bandra Sea link.

Besides these two, the State-run corporation also plans to raise debt for Thane Creek Bridge (Rs 800 crore) and Satara-Kagal Highway 6-laning (Rs 1,000 crore).

"EY will assist the Corporation to raise funds (for these four projects), which can either be through bonds or other modes of debt," an official said today.

MSRDC has already tied up with SBI Capital Markets to raise funds for the ambitious Rs 46,000 crore Mumbai-Nagpur Super Communication Expressway project. The Corporation plans to raise around Rs 28,000 crore for the project and is in talks with several banks for this.
