The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and cab aggregator Ola have come together to promote and raise awareness about responsible tourism.
Other than MTDC, Ola is also working on the same with tourism corporations of the states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Assam, a release said.
"With Ola Outstation, we are aiming to make outstation travel as convenient and reliable as daily commute."

The JBM Group, which is into auto components, buses & electric vehicles, engineering & design services and renewables, will develop the plant at investment of Rs 176 crore and will entail door to door collection of waste, its transportation, construction and operation of the power plant.
JBM Group has roped in leading European company Ekolog which has over 30 years of experience in operating integrated waste management systems in Europe and Asia.
The power plant will be spread across 20 acres in Sonepat, for which the land has been allotted by the state government.
