The participants, who missed the regular audition round will now be able to directly enter the contest by registering during the MTS Golden Week from May 8 to 14.
Aspirants will need to visit any of the select MTS retail stores across 65 cities to register their participation by uploading the video recording of their song.
"MTS and Indian Idol have joined hands to promote and nurture the flair for music in these aspirants. We hope that all the participants will grab this opportunity and will make the most of it," said Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer, MTS India.
Post registration, all shortlisted will be asked to come to Mumbai on May 19, 2012 for primary audition round.
