Muggy weather returns in capital

Yesterday, the city received 2.5 mm of rainfall as rains hit the capital after a gap of three day.

The weather, however, became muggy today with the maximum and minimum temperature recording 34.4 deg C and 25.6 deg C respectively.

Both maximum and minimum temperature levels are normal at this time of the season, the MeT office said. The humidity oscillated between 62 and 92 per cent.

According to the weatherman, the city is likely to get rains for the next two days with a dip in mercury, which is expected to fall and settle at around 33 deg C tomorrow.
