The Mughal Road, connecting the twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu region with South Kashmir's Shopian district, was reopened for traffic after 4-day long closure due to landslides and snowfall in high altitude areas.

The Mughal Road was reopened yesterday, police officials said.

The traffic was allowed on both sides of the road.

The traffic on the road is plying from Poonch and Shopian districts and Shopian-bound vehicles left Bufliaz this morning, they said.
