Former Railway minister and Trinamool Congress general secretary Mukul Roy today visited the Amlasole area of West Midnapore district and talked to the local people.
Roy visited the Amlasole area and asked the local people about their problems and told them what measures the state government was taking for their welfare.
He also held a meeting with senior police officers including IGP (Western Range) S N Gupta, DIG (Midnapore) Ajay Nand and SP West Midnapore regarding the security arrangements made for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's visit to West Midnapore district in January next year.
