Samajwadi party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today expressed grief over the loss of life and property following the earthquake in Nepal and parts of India.
In a statement issued here, Yadav said that the Samajwadi Pariwar was with the affected families of Nepal and India in this hour of crisis.
Nepal is a neighbouring country and its pain is that of India, it said.

The state reported at least 12 deaths in the earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale with its epicentre at Lamjung, around 80 kilometres northwest of Kathmandu.
The SP supremo also appreciated the UP government for extending financial help to the affected families of the state.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has announced a financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of those killed in the earthquake, Rs 50,000 to grievously injured and Rs 20,000 to those having minor injuries.
