Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today held a meeting with the Uttar Pradesh ministers, who have been given charge of campaign for the next month's by-elections to 12 assembly seats.
At the meeting held at the party headquarters here, Yadav reviewed poll preparedness and directed the leaders to ensure the party's victory in all the 12 assembly and one Lok Sabha seats that are going to bypoll.
"The meet was held to review poll preparedness. We have been asked to ensure that the party wins all the 12 assembly seats. Political equations keep changing. The scenario during the Lok Sabha polls will again change in by-elections in favour of the party," Transport Minister Durga Prasad Yadav said after the meeting.

The assembly by-elections are due in Saharanpur, Kairana, Charkhari, Lucknow East, Bijnore, Thakurdwara, Hamirpur, Rohania, Noida, Balha, Nighasan and Sirathu seats.
Mainpuri, which was vacated by the party chief who also won from Azamgarh, is the lone Lok Sabha seat in the state where bypoll will be held.
Senior cabinet minister Shivpal Singh Yadav has been made in-charge of the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat, from where Tej Pratap Yadav is contesting on the SP ticket.
Those present at the meeting included Health Minister Ahmad Hasan, Rural Development Minister Arvind Singh Gope, Basic Education Minister Ram Govind Chowdhury.
