Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today warned party cadres that action will be taken against them if they were found involved in anti-party activities.

Mulayam, while addressing a closed door meeting with party's district presidents at SP headquarters here, said a list of leaders involved in anti-party activities will be prepared and action would be initiated against them, party sources said.

He tasked the district presidents with strengthening the party at booth level and asked them to work for replicating the success of 2012 when it had won absolute majority in assembly elections.

"The Assembly Polls are in 2017 and you all should work seriously in your districts to ensure that the party wins the maximum number of seats and form government again," the sources quoted Mulayam as saying.

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav asked party leaders to reach out to people to hear their grievances and forward it to the administration for redressal.
