Telangana ChiefMinister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said a multi-pronged strategy needs to be followed for the comprehensive development of Padmashali community, who are dependent on the weaving profession.
The Chief Minister said a multi-pronged strategy was essential for overall development of the Padmashali community, who are dependent on the weaving profession,towards which both the government and Padmashali's welfare association should work together hand in hand,a release from his office said.
Rao, who held a meeting with representatives of the community, said the government has already been providing incentives to those who continue to work in the weaving profession, it said.
The government was prepared to spend any amount for their welfare they, in turn, should make optimum use of the funds to find lasting solutions to their issues, Rao said.
