Mumbai FC thrash Chirag United Kerala

This was Mumbai FC's second win in the group following their victory in the opening game against HAL, while Chirag are desperate for their first point in the event after losing their opener against Air India. Mumbai FC are group leaders with six points from two games.

Rane was in a fine form with an exhibition of his best skills and opened the scoring for his team in the 29th minute by tapping in a cross from the left flank. In the 43rd minute, Mumbai FC midfielder Chetan Tandel scored to make it 2-0 before half time.

The second half saw some rough play with Chirag Kerala player Vishnu Chandran, Mumbai FC players Altamash Sayed and Sagar Khanvilkar booked by the referee, with Chandran earning his second yellow card, which forced him to leave the game.
