Mumbai FC to replace head coach Kashyap

I-league team Mumbai FC today said it had decided to "part ways" with its head coach Santosh Kashyap.

"Mumbai FC has decided to part ways with coach Santosh Kashyap with immediate effect. Mumbai FC thanks Kashyap for his efforts and wishes him the best in his future endeavours," the club said in a media release here.

"The name of the new coach will be announced shortly," it added.

A senior official from the club confirmed the development.

On June 23 last year Kashyap was named as the new head coach of Mumbai FC for its 2016-17 I-League football season in place of Khalid Jamil who was with the club for seven years.
