Mumbai Indians beat Rajasthan Royals by eight runs in in an IPL cricket match here today.

Batting first, MI scored a competitive 187 for five against Rajasthan Royals. For the winners, Ambati Rayudu top-scored with 27-ball-53 while Lendl Simmons scored 38 while Dhawal Kulkarni was the most successful bowler with figures of 2/29.

In reply, Rajsthan Royals scored 179 for seven in 20 overs with Sanju Samson hitting 76 off 46 balls.
