The Mumbai International Airport authorities have made elaborate arrangements to ensure seamless operations during the monsoon season this year.
The monsoon preparations cover all key areas of the airport -- the curbside, airside and terminal, Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) said here.
Besides setting up an emergency response team christened as "Monsoon Task Force" to deal with any situation caused by rains, focus is being laid on each of the critical elements like roof, storm water down takes, departure bays, service roads and utility corridor among others, it said.
