Police today arrested son of a City-based realtor in a case of accident in which a 24-year-old man died.
Kunal Vardhan allegedly ran over a motorcyclist while driving a Mercedes car on Thursday near the Trident hotel in South Mumbai, and fled after taking the victim to the hospital.
The victim was identified as Mayur Kadam (24), who worked as a production assistant in the Marathi film industry.
After Kadam succumbed to the injuries, police filed a case of causing death due to negligence against Vardhan.
Vardhan today surrendered before the local metropolitan magistrate's court and was later granted bail.
