Mumbai Traffic Police today sought people's support to tackle the traffic problems in the metropolis.
"The need of the hour is that common people should come forward and provide active support in the management of traffic and also give inputs," Joint Commissioner of Police Milind Bharambe said during an interaction with people at Kalba Devi in South Mumbai.
"Until and unless people don't share their experiences and give suggestions to the Traffic department, it would be difficult to solve the issues," he said.
Uttam Jain, president of Hindustan Chambers of Commerce, a leading body of cloth merchants of the city said his organisation was willing to provide its volunteers to help the traffic department.
