Former Chief Minister and BJP
leader Arjun Munda today said he apprehended scrapping of Rs 15,000 crore central grant to the Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) because of the Hemant Soren government's "inefficiency" in dealing a proposal in the energy sector.
"The inefficiency and lack of foresight of the state government has led to acute power supply crisis in the state," Munda said in a statement here.

"The state government's inaction on the Rs 6,000 crore financial proposal asked by the Centre in the energy sector has come to a stage that central grant of Rs 15,000 crore to JSEB faces the possibility of being scrapped," Munda added.
He alleged that the government had not taken any step to speed up work given to Power Grid to stabilise power crisis.
