Munda closely monitoring his pet dal-bhat project

Munda also asked sub-divisional officers to supervise 370 inns where meals were being supplied at five rupees per plate across the state daily, according to an official release here.

The chief minister approved the release of Rs 1,263 lakh to purchase rice, pulse and soya bean to cater the meals smoothly.

The Deputy Commissioners of the respective districts have been asked to select women self-help groups to run the inns, the release said.

The state food corporation has been asked to lift, store and transport grains and other food items to the ration shops, it said.
