Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today pulled up the opposition parties for criticising the performance of Raghuvar Das-led BJP government in the state without allowing it time to discharge responsibilities.

"It is inappropriate to comment on the performance of the state government which is proceeding in the right direction," Munda told newsmen after taking part in a function organised to mark the 15th anniversary of a Hindi magazine "Rastra Samvad", here.

The opposition should allow some time to the new government to deliver before they start commenting on its performances, he said.

To a query about BJP's prospect in the coming assembly poll in Bihar following thumping victory of Arvind Kejriwal-headed Aam Aadmi Party, Munda said in a country like India the outcome of a state would hardly impact on other state while expressing confidence to perform much better.

Appreciating the Rastra Samvad for living to the expectation for so long, the BJP leader said Hindi media have been facing lot of problems and challenges but kept moving forward.
