Municipal officer allegedly kills self due to work pressure

An officer of the Indore Municipal Corporation allegedly committed suicide "due to the work pressure", the police said today.

Chief Hygiene Inspector Sunil Reval (51) consumed a poisonous substance at his house in Paricharika Nagar here last night and died in the hospital, Palasia police station in-charge S S Kushwaha said.

Reval, who was posted at the Saket Nagar Zone office of IMC, left a suicide note which said he was under a lot of work pressure which caused hypertension.

Police are conducting further probe.

On August 30 last year, another IMC employee, sub-engineer Naresh Nehlani (50), had allegedly committed suicide citing work pressure as the reason.
