City police today said to have arrested a man accused in a murder case in the district and recovered the gun which was allegedly used in the crime.
Neeraj, resident of Neeraj of village Nagla Saman here, was intercepted in Kotwal Rural area following a tip-off and arrested yesterday, police said.
The weapon, a .315 bore pistol, which was used in the two-month-old murder, along with cartridges was recovered from the possession of the accused, they said.
Neeraj hasconfessed to his involvement in the murder, police claimed.
