The body of a murder accused was found hanging from a tree at Siliguri Correctional Home today, hours after he could not be traced during morning's mandatory head count.
Correctional home sources said Rajkumar Tharu (33) was found hanging from a jackfruit tree in the premises hours after he was untraceable during the head count.
Tharu's behaviour was stated to be normal in the morning.
