Murder case against Raj minister, jail superintendent

The FIR against Minister of State Technical Education Murari Lal Meena and Jaipur Jail Superintendent Otaram was registered last evening with Lalkothi police station.

In the FIR, complainant Ajay Meena alleged that the minister in connivance with the jail superintendent hatched a conspiracy to kill his brother Vijay Meena, who was jailed last year in connection with a dowry death case.

"My brother was murdered in jail and the jail authorities said it was a case of suicide," Ajay said in the FIR.

The accused could not be contacted for their comments.

The case has been referred to the CB-CID for investigation, official sources said.
