Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim, who had sustained a shoulder injury while fielding against India, is still under observation and it's not yet known whether he would be available for their Asia Cup match against Afghanistan on Saturday.
"For now we will continue to assess his condition," team physio Vibhav Singh said today as the captain underwent a scan on his right shoulder.
Rahim was rushed to hospital after he landed awkwardly on his right shoulder while diving to save a boundary during their match against India at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah last night.
The skipper was also hit nastily on his rib cage by a Varun Aaron beamer before he went on to score a century in their six-wicket loss to India.
