The condition of former vice chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University Mushirul Hasan, continues to be critical with doctors saying that "he is still not out of danger."
"He is still not out of danger and is critical. He is being put on ventilator and removed intermittently. A team of experts are constantly monitoring his conditions," Apollo Hospital sources.
According to doctors, Hasan's response to medication is slow and he is not able to recognise his family members.

65-year-old Hasan had met with an accident on Nov 29 while he was on his way to Mewat from Delhi.
The accident occurred when the vehicle in which he was travelling to Mewat reportedly collided head on with a dumper.
The leading academician had sustained severe head injuries and was operated upon by a team of neurosurgeons at the hospital.
Hasan had served as the vice-chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University between 2004-2009.
