'Aashiqui-2' composers Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari who have made music for detective film 'Samrat & Co' say it completely gells with the premise of the story.

According to the hit composer-duo, the music for the film is out of the box, different and entertaining too.

The music plays an integral part of the film and at the same time it is not a song and dance film, they said.

"It has been a pleasure working with the banner (Rajshri Films). I base my songs on the characters. I'm looking forward to how listeners receive it and react to it," Mithoon said.

Ankit too is quite excited to be part of this project. Rajeev Khandelwal who plays detective Samrat in the film, thinks the music goes well with the film.

"As this is a true blue detective film the makers were sure that the music and songs of the film have to be centered on the story of the movie, and not just be placed for the sake of it. The music is in sync and takes the story forward," Rajeev said.

Rajshri Productions known for their genre of family entertainment, is gearing up for unexplored genre -- detective films -- with 'Samrat & Co'.

Releasing on April 25, 'Samrat & Co' is produced by Kavita Barjatya under her family banner and is directed by Kaushik Ghatak.
