Muslim outfit slams govt for forced eviction of riot victims

Alleging that the riot victims are being forcefully evicted from relief camps, a Muslim organisation today said that the Akhilesh Yadav government's track record of treating the victims was no better than of Narendra Modi government in Gujarat.

The Millat Bedaari Muhim Committee warned "the Uttar Pradesh Government of long term damage if it persits with its policy of forcible eviction of Muzaffarnagar riot victims from the relief camps."

"It is shocking that the state government has not opened its eyes even after the death of 40 children due to cold in the relief camps," he said.

"Akhilesh Yadav government's track record of treating riot victims was no better than of Narendra Modi government in Gujarat," MBMC secretary Jasim Mohammad alleged.
