Prices of mustard and cottonseed oils fell by up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said subdued demand from retailers mainly led to fall in mustard and cottonseed oil prices.
