Prices of mustard and cottonseed oils drifted lower by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils held steady in thin trade.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers against adequate stocks position, mainly led to the decline in mustard and cottonseed oil prices.
