In a restricted activity, mustard oil prices edged up by Rs 50 a quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market on scattered demand from local parties.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to move in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said mild demand from local parties mainly attributed the rise in mustard oil prices.
