Mustard oil prices moved up by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered buying by local parties.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some scattered buying by retailers mainly led to rise in mustard oil prices.
